It’s always kind of amazing to me that desserts get to be part of so many different moments in life.
This weekend I had the privilege of creating treats for both a celebration of life and a Sandlot-themed birthday party. Two very different occasions, but both filled with people coming together.

🥥 Traditional – topped with homemade chocolate frosting, then finished with toasted coconut & pecans.

☁️ Marshmallow Lover’s – topped with homemade chocolate frosting over an extra layer of mini marshmallows.

Both start with a rich, fudgy chocolate cake and that signature gooey marshmallow layer. The only hard part is deciding which topping wins. 😍

A fun Mario theme sugar cookie set. And an angel food cake, with a peanut butter frosting, peanut pretzel brittle, and caramel sauce drizzle. I’ve been snacking on the leftover peanut pretzel brittle - so crunchy and delicious. 🤤
