Throwback to gettin' ready for the Over the Garden Wall event organized by .r.florence!

I'm installing another mural at the end of this month for the next show in The Lounge Gallery, Matriarchal Strength: Stories of Indigenous Separation and Border Crossing.

📆 The show (and the mural 🤠) runs July 3rd through September 11th with an opening reception on Friday, July 10th from 5-7pm.

I can't wait to get started 🤗

Hooray 🎉 another one of my paintings has been included in the upcoming show at Cotuit Center for the Arts! A piece that looks different in every photo (apparently), so come and see it with your own eyeballs 👀

A halocline is formed when two bodies of water with different salinities come together. The denser, saltier water sinks below the less dense water, creating a distinct layer of separation. "Halocline" represents the feeling of being separate from the whole.

Obvi painted during my emo period, lol. But isn't all my artwork emo...No, actually, I think my work can be split into three categories. Emotional, conceptual, and decorative and I'm okay with that. It's also kind of funny, ((haha hahaha) not that kind of funny), since "Cool" asked artists to interpret the word broadly and this piece is so clearly shades of blue in all their glory but if you know what a halocline is or why I painted it, it's also kinda sad...

Got some new things in the shop! As of right now none of these are on my website or Etsy but will be available at my upcoming Hyannis Artist Shanty dates.

First up is June 29th through July 5th. I'll be at Harbor Overllok, right next to the Hyannis Town hall. 11am-8pm Monday through Sunday.

Finally posting my schedule for the rest of the year, probably! I hope to add a few open studios to the fall, but as of right now, this is it!

I've been feeling kind of weird about having such a "sparse" calendar. BUT if you really think about it, these 4 dates are really like doing 26 individual markets 😲!!! And a week at the shanties is not for the faint of heart (see pic. 2 Sooooo tired).

The people who can do back to back weeks are my actual heroes
