We had the opportunity to create the awards for the inaugural 2026 Martinsville 40 Under 40 class. 🏆

Projects like this mean more than just engraving names onto acrylic.

They represent:
• late nights
• sacrifices
• leadership
• community impact
• taking chances
• building something bigger than yourself

What makes the inaugural class special is that these individuals become part of the foundation. Years from now, people will look back and remember who helped set the standard for what young leadership and impact looked like in Martinsville-Henry County.

There’s something special about creating awards for small businesses in our own community.

We had the opportunity to create awards for the Martinsville Chamber of Commerce, and moments like these are a reminder that behind every business name is a story most people never see. The long nights. The risk. The sacrifices. The times people almost gave up but kept going anyway.

These awards become moments frozen in time.
Years from now, someone may still have that piece sitting on a shelf, desk, or office wall remembering the season where their hard work was seen and recognized.

A cutting board can be used to prepare meals…
but it can also tell someone how much they mean to you.

We engraved a cutting board with words that described a person instead of just adding a name or date.

Because sometimes the most meaningful gifts are the ones that remind people who they are and how others see them.

The “Eat. Drink. Live. Shop.” flags throughout Uptown aren’t just decorations… they represent the businesses, people, and energy that make this community what it is.

So we decided to turn a piece of Uptown Martinsville into something people could carry with them.

We created custom wooden keychains inspired by the Uptown flags small reminders of local pride, local businesses, and the importance of supporting the places that make a town feel alive.

Taking something people see every day and turning it into something meaningful they can hold onto.
