Good morning, friends! 🎃🍂

I’m officially in “there are not enough hours in the day” mode! 😂

Autumn Treasures in Waxhaw is just a couple of days away, and I have to admit… I’m a little behind on my show prep.

I still have my product list to finish, price tags to get done, and all those last-minute details that somehow multiply when you’re getting ready for a craft show! 😳

And because apparently I enjoy making things complicated for myself, I’m also dealing with a little mason jar detour on another Christmas project. 😂

But today, my priority is getting ready for WAXHAW!

I’ll be at Autumn Treasures this Saturday, October 10, with a selection of my Halloween and fall designs, and I’m really looking forward to getting back out there and seeing some familiar faces. ❤️

So today’s workshop agenda is basically:

🎃 Get organized
🍂 Finish show prep
🏷️ Make those tags!
📋 Finish that product list
😅 Try not to panic
☕️ Repeat

One Week Until Waxhaw! 🍂🎃

Good morning, friends! ❤️

It’s officially one week until Autumn Treasures in Waxhaw, and I’m realizing just how quickly October is moving!

I’ve been bouncing back and forth between Halloween, fall, and Christmas in my workshop lately—which is probably why my worktable looks like three different holidays decided to have a party together. 😂

For Waxhaw, I’m keeping the focus on my Halloween pieces and a few fall designs, while the Christmas creations are starting to take over the workshop for my big November show.
And honestly, I love this time of year.

There’s something so exciting about having several seasons of creativity happening at once. 🎃🍂🎄

I’m going to be putting the finishing touches on things this week, getting everything organized, and figuring out exactly what will make the trip to Waxhaw with me.
If you’re local, I’d love to see some familiar faces next Saturday! ❤️

From a pile of fall pieces… to a little owl with BIG personality! 🍂🧡
Here’s a little peek behind the scenes at how one of my newest creations came to life!

Layer by layer, detail by detail, she (or he 😉) came together with rich autumn colors, a touch of sparkle, and of course… that signature Wreath and Vine Designs personality!
And yes… that little bow had to happen. 🎀✨
I absolutely LOVE seeing the transformation from “pieces on the work table” to “finished creation.”

Well… Jasmine wasn’t kidding! 😂🎄

Remember when Jasmine and Mommy headed home from Hobby Lobby with the car packed full of Christmas supplies?

Well, THIS little cutie was one of the things Mommy had in mind! 🦉❤️

She’s still a work in progress, but I couldn’t resist giving you a little peek at what’s happening on the design table tonight.

There’s something so fun about watching a pile of random pieces turn into a completely new creation. ✨

I think she’s going to be a CUTIE!

Behind the Design

There’s a whole other side of creating a wreath that happens AFTER the last ribbon is tucked in. 😂🎄

Yesterday I shared my little gingerbread baker girl with you, and today the behind-the-scenes work continues.

Now comes the part where I turn a finished design into something you can actually shop for online—photographing her, choosing the best views, creating lifestyle images, measuring everything, writing the listing, and making sure all those little details I put into her don’t get lost in a photograph.

Because when you’re shopping for handmade, I want you to be able to see more than “a pretty wreath.”

I want you to see the personality, the layers, the colors, the little details—and hopefully picture her hanging on your front door. 💗

There’s definitely more to running a handmade business than just making the pretty stuff! 😉

Okay… she’s FINALLY finished! 💗🎄

Meet my newest little Christmas baker! 👩‍🍳🍪

This one took me in a completely different direction. I wanted to play with that big, lush, layered look you see in some of those gorgeous deco-mesh Christmas wreaths—and since you all know deco mesh isn't exactly my favorite thing to work with 😂, this was definitely a little outside my comfort zone!

I kept playing with the ribbon placement until I finally got the rhythm I was looking for, and those repeated ribbon clusters really brought the whole design together.

And then there's her. 🥰

A sweet little gingerbread baker surrounded by pink, mint, candy-cane stripes, sparkle, texture, and a whole lot of Christmas cheer.

She's definitely not your traditional red-and-green Christmas wreath…

…and that's exactly why I like her. 💗

So tell me…

One Season Ends, Another Begins 🎄

Good morning, friends! 💜

It still feels a little strange to say this, but Halloween is officially behind me and my design table has officially entered Christmas mode. 🎄✨

After all the Halloween pieces I’ve been creating lately, it’s actually fun to pull out completely different colors, textures and embellishments and let my brain go in a new direction.

And I’m not going to lie…I'm excited about this part.

I have several Christmas ideas rolling around in my head, and I'm looking forward to seeing which ones actually make it from idea → worktable → finished Wreath and Vine Designs piece.

Of course, before Christmas gets completely out of hand 😂, I still have Autumn Treasures in Waxhaw coming up October 10, so there’s a little bit of fall still on my calendar too.

That's the funny thing about creating seasonal décor as a small business…

I'm always living in more than one season at a time! 😂
