See you tomorrow!

The anticipation is finally over for some of these crops…they’re blooming!
Many of them (Sweet William, nigella, bupleurum, yarrow) were planted or direct sown outside late last fall. They’ve lived through the extremes of hot, cold, snow, sleet, rain, and drought…mostly drought. But aren’t they gorgeous? 😍

Others were started as plugs or tubers (lisianthus, celosia, dahlias) and transplanted to hoop house beds this spring.

All are showing off on this fine Spring morning! Perhaps it’s because…it’s raining!!! 💦☔️

We are grateful. 🙏🏼

🌱 This one surviving Mama plant produced all of these cuttings!

(She’s a lone survivor because pine voles ate the rest of our dahlia patch. 😬)

At just eight weeks old, they’ve developed strong roots and baby tubers.

Way to go, Sandra Dahlia!

We propagated several more varieties including:

💜You might say we like purple!
