Gorgeous 200+ year old historic row home in Old City. The window frame was angled in on the sides and different heights from top to bottom. Because we were working with a buffalo check, I needed to fabricate from the top down to eliminate the checks from looking crooked. All e panels were different lengths. This is what defines custom!

One of my 26 for 2026 was to make something for myself that was not work related. I had never machine quilted before so I signed up for a class at to make All Things Tote. I spent 2 Saturdays and a little homework in between and made the tote. I’m sure I could have made it on my own but it was so much fun to meet some new friends and learn a few new tricks!

Shutters were not providing enough privacy in this guest and primary bedroom. Previous owner left the transom windows open allowing the sun to come in. The pretty fabrics from added some color and created coziness to the rooms.
