This main level makeover was about so much more than making the space look beautiful (and the transformation was BIG).

My goal for this home was to elevate the overall look and feel while creating a space that truly works for this family’s everyday life. That meant incorporating functional storage, creating purpose for each room, and even carving out a dedicated spot for the dogs—because they're family too. ❤️🐾

I wanted this home to function just as well for busy family life as it does for entertaining friends. And work for everyone who lives there, whether they're on two legs or four. 😍

Think of styling as the jewelry of your home. It's what adds personality, warmth, and intention. It really creates that finished look.

Tip: Focus on varying heights, texture and scale...no matter if you are styling your countertops, sofa or coffee table. That's the secret to creating a home that feels elevated and welcoming.

✨️ Pillow Talk: Part 2

If your couch feels flat, your throw pillows are probably the reason.

We've already gone through what pillows to buy, now let's talk about styling. When styling your throw pillows, focus on these 3 things:

✔️ Size
Start with larger pillows in the corners (22"-24") and layer smaller pillows in front. Different sizes create dimension and make your sofa feel more designer-inspired.

✔️ Texture
Mix patterns and fabrics like linen, velvet, knit, or faux leather. Even if your pillows are similar in color, texture adds interest and keeps them from looking boring.

✔️ A Cohesive Color Palette
Choose 2-3 coordinating colors and repeat them throughout the arrangement. I like pulling colors from a rug or artwork to create a look that feels intentional and pulled together.

✔️ Include a mirror or artwork to create a focal point
