BEFORE & AFTER | Small space. Big personality. ✨

This bathroom may be small, but that doesn’t mean it has to play it safe.
We completely refreshed the space with a lighter palette, a frameless glass shower and a mix of materials that gives the room so much more character.

The shower is where the details really come to life. The geometric tile creates a statement wall, while the mosaic floor brings in another layer of texture. Even the niche became an opportunity to carry the pattern through rather than simply disappear into the wall.

Then came the finishing touches — soft gray cabinetry, warm brass accents, sculptural lighting and that beautiful round mirror.
Proof that even the smallest rooms can make an impact. 🤍

OUTDOOR SEASON IS HERE. ✨

One of our favorite times of year in Florida is almost here — when the temperatures begin to soften and living outdoors becomes part of the everyday again.
And this is exactly the kind of space we want to come home to.
A comfortable place to gather.
A firepit for cooler evenings.
Beautiful surroundings.
And a view that makes you want to stay just a little longer.

For this project, we wanted the outdoor spaces to feel like a true extension of the home — comfortable, considered and designed to be enjoyed, not simply looked at.
Because here in Florida, some of the best living happens outside. 🤍

Are you ready for firepit season?

If your outdoor space could use a little more attention, now is the perfect time to start thinking about it.

WEDNESDAY TIPS
ONE ROOM. ONE FOCAL POINT. ✨

Not everything in a room needs to make a statement.
In fact, some of the most successful spaces begin with one strong focal point — and everything else is designed to support it.

Here, the fireplace became the anchor. Natural stone gives it presence and texture, while the warm wood, integrated shelving and subtle lighting bring balance to the entire wall.

The furniture, colors, and surrounding details all have their own personality, but none of them compete for attention.

Because good design isn’t about making everything stand out.
It’s about knowing what should.
What’s the first thing your eye is drawn to in this room? 👀

BEFORE & AFTER | It started with the wallpaper. ✨

Sometimes, one design choice sets the tone for an entire room.

Here, it was the palm wallpaper. 🌿

Soft and subtle, but with just enough personality to make an impact. From there, we layered natural textures, woven details, warm wood tones and shades of blue to bring the room together.

Look a little closer and you’ll see how the details play off one another — the woven headboard and nightstands, layered bedding, lighting and carefully chosen accessories.

The result feels relaxed, fresh and full of personality.

And the wallpaper? It makes a statement without taking over the room — exactly what we wanted. 🤍

Would you go for wallpaper in your bedroom?

✨ It’s all in the details.

A beautiful space doesn’t happen by accident.

Behind every finished room are countless little decisions — what stays, what moves, what adds balance, and sometimes… whether that book needs to go two inches to the left. 😉

For us, that’s part of the fun.

Suzi and Thomas bring different perspectives to every project, and it’s that collaboration that helps turn a beautiful room into one that feels complete.

Because at LMD, we believe the finishing touches aren’t an afterthought.

They’re part of the design. 🤍

Have a beautiful weekend!

It’s All About the Balance. ✨

Great design doesn’t come from matching everything perfectly.

It comes from knowing how to bring different elements together.

Warm wood against a soft blue.
Natural stone beside clean lines.
Texture, light and a few carefully chosen details.

Each element brings something different — but together, they create a space that feels balanced, layered and intentional.

At LMD, that balance is often where the magic happens. 🤍

A Kitchen, Reimagined. ✨

Sometimes, a transformation is about more than changing how a space looks — it’s about changing how it feels to live in it.

For this kitchen, we reimagined the space with a lighter, more open approach while bringing warmth and character through natural wood tones, soft greens and carefully selected finishes.

A larger island creates a true gathering place, layered lighting brings warmth and dimension, and the mix of cabinetry gives the kitchen a fresh look without losing its sense of home.

And of course, one of our favorite details: that backsplash. 🤍

The result? A kitchen that feels brighter, more functional, more inviting — and completely transformed.

Designed to Be Lived In.

A beautiful home should never feel too precious to enjoy.

It should be the place where mornings begin slowly, friends stay a little longer, and everyday moments feel just a little more special.

At LMD, we design with real life in mind — creating spaces that feel elevated and refined, while still being warm, comfortable, and completely personal.

Because luxury isn’t about having a home you’re afraid to touch.

It’s about having a home you never want to leave.

Thinking about what your home could become?
Let’s create something beautiful together.

✨ Meet Thomas ✨

Originally from France, Thomas has called Florida home for the past seven years.

His love for architecture and interiors started long before LMD. With a professional background in Europe and a lifelong passion for design, he brings a distinctly European perspective to his work — one shaped by proportion, character, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

Travel is another big part of his inspiration. Different cultures, architecture, hotels, restaurants, materials… he’s always observing, collecting ideas, and finding inspiration in the places he discovers.

For Thomas, the most beautiful interiors aren’t simply well designed. They feel personal. They tell something about the people who live there and are meant to be enjoyed, not just admired.

Under the Florida sun, Thomas co-founded LMD Interior Design Studio alongside his friend Suzi — bringing together their creativity, experience, and shared love of creating beautiful homes.

And four years later, that passion continues to shape every project that comes through the studio.

🤍 Have a project in mind?

We’d love to get to know you — and create a home that feels distinctly yours.

BEFORE / AFTER | Designed for Life Outdoors

Some transformations change more than the way a home looks — they change the way you live in it.

This outdoor space was reimagined as a true extension of the home. A place to gather, slow down, entertain, and enjoy those beautiful Florida evenings.

And with cooler temperatures just around the corner, there’s something especially inviting about spending the evening outside — good company, a comfortable place to settle in, and the warmth of a firepit nearby.

Because the best spaces shouldn’t always be inside.
