A special milestone for the University of Memphis, the Fletcher family, and everyone who has helped carry Liza Wellford Fletcher’s legacy forward. 💙

Today, the University of Memphis broke ground on the Liza Wellford Fletcher Stadium, the first purpose-built home for the Tigers’ men’s and women’s soccer and track & field programs.

4FDesign is honored to serve as the architect for this transformational project, creating a facility that will support student-athletes, strengthen the University’s athletic programs, and provide a lasting place to celebrate Liza’s impact.

A University of Memphis soccer player and avid runner, beloved kindergarten teacher, mother, and inspiration to so many, Liza dedicated her life to encouraging and uplifting young people. It is especially meaningful to see her legacy live on through a space that will inspire generations of student-athletes.

We’re proud to be part of bringing this vision to life and look forward to watching the Liza Wellford Fletcher Stadium take shape. 🐯⚽️
