On the last day of the Schluter Systems workshop that we attended. Schluter demonstrated how to properly install their Ditra Heat floor heating system, which can be used under tile or a range of other floor coverings. Additionally they demonstrated how to install their Kerdi line drains. These drains have a range of finish options, grate style options or the grate can be tiled.

In our application booth we applied the floor heating to both the bathroom floor and the shower floor. Additionally, we utilized the Kerdi line drain in a front entry placement. Another option for drain placement is up against the back wall of the shower. This can be seen in the picture with the shower on the right and vanity on the left. In the design of our booths the Kerdi line drain would also be used in the vanity sink area.

Tri-State Interiors is attending a two day Schluter Systems workshop. The workshop has an educational classroom and practical components. The workshop covers new innovations and trends in bathroom and shower design, tile installation, and waterproofing.

On day one we learned about linear drains, installing floating shower seats, and building a custom vanity using Schluter products. Follow us to see final pictures with heated floors, fully waterproofed, and linear drains installed.

Imagine you wake up and walk into a frigid bathroom with ice cold tile. Step over that tall curb and put your foot on that hair covered metal drain.

We are looking for professional and dependable cabinet installers. Work will be performed on site. Installers will be provided and required to follow job documents such as blueprints and drawings. Installers will install cabinets, trim (toe kick, shoe, crown, and like mouldings), and cabinet k***s or handles. Cabinets are pre-assembled and are ready to install.
