I just found out that J&S Stained Glass will be there too! She has the best stained glass items for sale, turtles 🐢 included(how do I know that? I have one hanging in my home office 😆)

This is a great idea for a kid’s craft activity!

Kids won’t believe these cute turtles are made from an egg carton.

Parents love this one because it looks fun, bright, and easy.

Perfect for a quiet craft day at home or in class.

Here’s how to make it step by step.

Ingredients:
Egg carton
Green paint
Dark green marker or paint
Green pom-poms
Googly eyes
Glue
Scissors
Blue and green paper

Step 1
Cut the egg carton into small cups.

Step 2
Paint each cup green and add shell patterns.

Step 3
Glue a pom-pom on the front for the turtle head.

Step 4
Add eyes and place the turtles on a blue paper pond.

Every turtle turns out a little different.

I’m curious which turtle kids would name first.

Double Header this weekend, TRIPLE header for the next week!:

Middletown First Fridays on Main Street this Friday 6/5 from 5-8pm.

St.John’s Ladies Guild Spring Festival in Old Saybrook on Saturday 6/6 from 9am-2pm.

And then traveling up to Windsor Locks for the rescheduled Springfest on Tuesday 6/9 from 4-8pm!

I’m certainly not moving turtle slow 🐢 this week! Especially with a new turtle collection making its reappearance! Keep an eye 👁️ out!

The purple variegated flamingo is strutting around Portland, but the regular color one is still on sale!

If it doesn’t sell today, check it out a town over on Friday 6/5 where I’ll be at Middletown First Fridays! I will be there 5-8pm!

“Wreaths by Bonnie”(I prefer “Bonnie and the Wreaths” 😆) has a mix of her brightly colored deco mesh wreaths, with her spring wreaths on sale!

She also has a (secret)mix of her crochet items: including the Frog Family, Gnomes, Big Bears, and BIG Cats!

24 Peace has the best clothing apparel with artist drawings on them. I bought a turtle sweatshirt that I’m wearing today, and a purple turtle shirt. I will probably buy something later on today(and if not today, I will probably buy online)!

I met Creations By Lady D a few weeks ago in Branford. She has different tumblers and cups- I didn’t see a turtle one, but if she had one, I would buy one!

And of course, Bonnie and the wreaths(aka my mom), but she gets her own post once she’s done setting up.
