Hard to believe this “hobby” I started 10 years ago as a way to calm anxiety has turned into something I love doing. This week I’ve been neck deep in addressing envelopes for my daughter’s wedding. It’s been fun but, just for the record, white ink is a PAIN to work with. Enjoy the video.

Current state of being: I get easily distracted by old tech. 😂 I’m currently working on 4 different journals but in my search for something else I found 3 iPods from around 2008 so, of course, I had to see if they still worked. One thing led to another and suddenly I now have an old boom box in my craft room that still plays these old iPods AND CDs! I own over 300 CDs and I miss the way we used to listen to them—all at once or in bits and pieces in the car. It feels good to bring these back into my life. What was your favorite CD?

I bought a very old book that was in rough shape in a store recently. I wanted to see if I could turn it into a journal. After thinking about how to go about this, I tried it and I LOVE the results! It has 256 sheets of lined and unlined paper and I'll be adding pockets and ephemera throughout. The book is a reading primer about animal folk tales so it will be animal themed. I'll be trying this again with a few other old books I have on hand but let me know if you'd like me to save this one for you! Kountry Nook Gift & Craft Mall
