๐ฟ MAKING THE BEST OF THIS SEASON ๐ฟ
This week, while still hibernating from the extreme Florida heat and afternoon showers, weโve been making the most of our time indoors โ and honestly, I think we may have stumbled into something pretty sweet. ๐ค
Life doesnโt always hand us ideal days. Sometimes seasons hand us lemons and we have to choose to make them into lemonadeโฆ ๐
While the Florida summer has kept us tucked inside, weโve been enjoying the slower days together:
โข Momma is making comfort food
โข Daddy is having Nerf gun wars with the boys ๐
โข Family movie nights
โข Making crafts
โข Playing board games
โข Starting seeds for the fall/winter garden
โข And simply enjoying being together
Thereโs something special about these ordinary daysโฆ The kind of days where nobody is rushing out the door, the kitchen smells like something good cooking, the kids are laughing in the next room, and weโre making memories without even realizing it.
Maybe thatโs one of the gifts hidden inside this inconvenient season โ it reminds us to slow down and enjoy what we already have.
So for now, weโll keep hibernating from the Florida heat, making our lemonade, and soaking up this extra family time. ๐๐ฟ
Because sometimes the sweetest memories are made on days like this.
