Mrs. Catherine Adams Masek graciously provided us with her expertise today to collect paint samples for analysis in the storage room at Parson Thorne Mansion. In recent years, she had collected samples from the entire interior of the mansion, which enabled us to date and match the color scheme of the original painting that featured the woodwork. This particular room was previously inaccessible, but now that we are restoring it, she was able to access the necessary areas.

Putting the finishing touches on the faux fireplace here at the Stayton House on the Parson Thorne Mansion estate.

We were able to find and reuse brick that was original to the Main house.

Now on to wrapping up the surround.
