What Riva Wore

Yes, Riva Treasure is my real name, thanks to my husband for supplying me with a memorable surname. It’s sort of fitting because I think that you can find fashion-inspired treasure anywhere; from a funky downtown boutique to a second-hand shop. I have no shame paring a $20 blouse with an 80’s inspired neon puffer jacket while carrying a $1300 handbag. Oh, and I believe in pairing everything with a

nimal prints. I’m a Milwaukee-based fashion and lifestyle blogger on good hair days, on bad hair days I believe in the restorative magic of wine and dry shampoo. I love a gaudy statement piece paired with a delicate piece of fine jewelry, and no; I don’t think you can have too many vintage brooches. My favorite things in no particular order are; the thrill of finding exactly the right OOTD for brunch, brunch, or pretending I’m starring in an HGTV series while renovating our 1911 farmhouse. When my husband allows me to put his photo on social media (he’s not a fan, but gets more likes than I do) I am usually hanging out with him a Mexican restaurant or snuggling my fur child, Lola. I’m also a new chicken mom and am pretty proud of my hens. When I’m not searching for the perfect outfit, the perfect happy hour, or enjoying all the amazing places to hang out in Milwaukee (seriously, you should visit if you’ve never been) I enjoy traveling without an agenda, teaching Irish Dance and pretending I like working out better than eating.
