I am so excited to share one of my latest e-design projects with all of you. I got the chance to work with an amazing client who is moving into a new home. She is renting, so wasn’t looking to add window coverings or accent walls or paint, but wanted the space to feel cozy, comfortable, inviting, and a little more like home.
This design features a beautiful sofa with a bench cushion and performance fabric along with an accent chair that will hold up to every day use with children and pets. Splurging on the main pieces and saving on decor items and the rug this room checked all the boxes. I was thrilled that my client loved the space and am excited to see her after pictures.

Looking for design inspiration… here are a couple fun bedroom design boards. One on the bolder side and one more subtle. sometimes it is hard to pull a room together. There are so many wonderful products out there, and so many great looks on Instagram! How are you to decide on a specific design plan? I wanted to share my latest E-design project with all of you. This client hired me to put together an E-design for her living room, entryway, and dining room. Her home has been fully remodeled and is already so beautiful. My client has amazing taste however, she was having troubles making the space feel complete.
She loves warm neutral colors, and so I brought in lots of beautiful color and texture with pillows, a new rug,tables, decor, lighting, wall art, and adding just a few more items to her beautiful built-ins.
E-design makes the whole process so simple! You are provided with design boards so that you can see how everything works together and links pages so that you can click and buy from the comfort of your own home. You will also receive a layout plan. This way you can see the scale of everything in your room and where to place it.

Now that it’s fall, and temperatures are dropping, I find myself very attracted to dark, rich, paint colors, and rich velvet textures. Fall also marks the time when we have more time to work on home projects. This year‘s focus will be my daughters bedroom. Working with a few different concepts. I am coming up with a plan to create her dream space.
I love how a daybed will create more floor, space giving her area to hang out with friends and play with toys. Adding an accent wall of board and batten in a dark shade will make the space feel very rich, and the wallpaper will add pattern to add interest to the room.
What I love most though, is that all the decor in the room will grow with her as she grows older.

When styling a console table, there are a few things to keep in mind.
• start with a large center piece (oversized wall art or framed mirror)
•add a smaller piece of framed art to create your first layer
•create balance with a tall décor piece on each end. Here I have chosen a lamp and a large vase. You could also consider using candle sticks or switching out the lamp for another vase or potted plant.
•add more layers with decorative books and a smaller decor item.
• lastly anchor the console table with small ottomans for added seating or decorative baskets for added storage.

Life can get hectic, that’s why having a place you can relax and unwind is so important. Choosing furniture that is comfortable and good quality is a must. Creating plenty of space to lounge, hang out and have conversations, or a place to take a midday nap seems just right.
When designing your space make sure to consider:
1️⃣how you want the space to feel.
2️⃣what items you want to splurge and save on.
3️⃣always keep your foundation pieces neutral and add in color with less expensive easy to change items.
4️⃣size and scale of your space
5️⃣nail down an interior design style you would like to achieve
6️⃣put together a mood board so you can see how everything works together
