There’s nothing better than fresh summer tomatoes straight from your backyard. This is an easy one to do.
A few tips that make a huge difference:
• Plant tomatoes deep after removing the bottom branches — the stem grows extra roots underground.
• Mix bone meal, bio tone and worm castings into your soil for stronger plants and healthier fruit.
• Add a cage or trellis right away because tomatoes get tall and heavy fast.
• And don’t forget to plant basil nearby 🌿 Basil is one of the best companion plants for tomatoes because it helps repel pests, attracts pollinators, and many gardeners swear it even improves the flavor of your tomatoes.
Now we wait for summer harvests! 🍅
