Mushroom mountains 🍄⛰️
Really loving the direction my work is taking lately. This piece came together using Russian olive from a storm-felled tree, reclaimed walnut, and a mix of salvaged woods. The mushroom paper was thrifted—though I’ve definitely spotted it in big box stores too 😆 I’ll take a good find wherever it shows up.

This one tested me more than once 😅

Those butterflies? Way harder than they look (note to self: skip the thick fabric next time). The frame needed a full rethink too… but I stuck with it and brought it all together.

A little chaotic behind the scenes, but that’s the beauty of a one-woman show ✨

What should I name this piece?? Let me know in the comments!

Sometimes you need to stop what you’re doing, grab some cookie dough ice cream, and hang in your hammock. Yep. Ok back to work.

New art reveal—no trending audio needed ✨

I am absolutely in love with how this piece turned out 💕 It’s made entirely from reclaimed wood, and the flowers were repurposed from a thrifted skirt—giving new life to materials that might have otherwise been discarded.

Why use thrifted fabric?

Fast fashion has a major environmental impact, and in 2021 it was estimated that 85% of textiles in the United States were thrown away—contributing to the growing issue of microplastics in our soil and oceans.

Creating with intention, reusing what already exists, and turning it into something beautiful—that’s what this piece is all about 🌿

I’m so happy with how this piece turned out. It measures 26.5” x 31.25” and will be on display at Lolo Peak Brewery this summer. If interested in purchasing this piece you’ll have to wait until then.

Medium: reclaimed wood (oak, pine, cedar, and more), acrylics, and the moon is an old fence post 😊.
