We like big ornaments, and we cannot lie! 🎄

Really, it’s all about balance—mixing different sizes, textures, and shapes to create a tree that feels full and layered. Here are a few pro tips when it comes to choosing and placing your ornaments:

* Go big! Mix in some larger ornaments throughout your tree. When purchasing multiples, try to stick with odd numbers. Larger ornaments look especially beautiful nestled deeper into the branches.

* Fill in with medium-sized ornaments in a variety of textures and finishes to add interest and dimension.

* Don’t toss those small ball ornaments!They’re perfect for clustering in groups of 3–5 and filling in little gaps throughout the tree.

* Think about depth. Place ornaments at different depths within the branches—not just on the outer tips—to create a more three-dimensional, layered look.

Pick” Your Style! 🎄
After the ribbon, the fun really begins—with picks! These days, you can add just about anything to your tree, including greenery, florals, berries, and more. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

•Dried or faux orange stems for a classic, timeless look.

•Head to the floral section and look for florals or greenery that complement your color palette. Magnolia stems are always a beautiful choice. We’ve even been known to tuck in a little wired moss!

•Berries are always a good choice, but be selective—look for ones that feel natural and elevated rather than overly artificial.

•Traditional Christmas picks are a tried-and-true way to add a little sparkle and festive flair.

If your Christmas decor needs a little refresh, adding or changing your ribbon is one of the easiest ways to make a big impact and instantly give your tree that designer look.

Here are a few of our pro tips for creating a beautifully layered ribbon design:

• Choose wired ribbon — it’s much easier to shape and holds its form beautifully.

• Mix your ribbon sizes — try combining 4", 2.5", and 1" widths to create dimension and interest.

• Mix patterns & solids — layering different textures and patterns keeps your design interesting without feeling overwhelming.

• Add velvet — velvet is always a favorite! It brings warmth, texture, and a touch of luxury to any Christmas design.

• Find a bold statement ribbon — choose one special ribbon that grabs your attention and use it as the star of your design.

The Lord saved the best for last. We weren’t planning to take another install this season but one message came through... We said if this one day worked, we’d make it happen, and she said yes. What followed was such a blessing, purely God-ordained. Such a beautiful home to decorate! We’re so thankful for all the our clients this year!

We finished our Friday with this from-scratch tree. With just six ornaments to start and a party around the corner, we went into full creative mode, gathered everything, made a few custom touches and just like that… she’s complete
