Rainbow + Root Dough Co As a mom of three, I began making my own play dough to avoid artificial dyes and fragrances.

That small passion became Rainbow + Root Dough Co, where each jar is inspired by nature and tested and approved by the little hands in my home.

Welcome to Playful Paws, where every furry friend needs a little love! 🐶🐱

The puppies and kittens are ready for a day of fun, but first they need your help! Build a cozy space for the pets, give them some toys to play with, and don’t forget their favorite treats—bones and fish! 🦴🐟

When a pet needs a rest, tuck them safely into their carrier or bed. When they’re ready to play, let them chase balls, sniff the flowers, and make new friends!

Who will you care for today? A playful pup or a curious kitty?

Get your paws ready for a day of squishy, silly pet adventures!

Note: The photo on the right varies slightly from the finalized kit on the left. The photo on the right was my little squish tester testing out the kit and suggested a few changes 😊 The dog bowl, bed and paw cutter colors vary by kit.

💚 Exact same recipe, different processes.

🌈 I've had some very exciting color surprises while experimenting with plant-based dyes as I've learned how the dyes interact with other ingredients and sensitivities they have.

😠 Other times it's frustrating because sometimes I can't use a quicker method because it will change the color I end up with.

🌿 But to me, it's worth it to take the long route to avoid my kids squishing their hands in numbered dyes.
