A LOT got done around the flower farm this weekend! 🌸💕

We got a brand new 50-foot row ready for fall planting and overwintering… lots of campanula, foxglove, sweet Annie, snapdragons, sweet William and feverfew will be going in here for spring blooms! 😍

We also shoveled an entire truckload of mulch around all of my raised beds and peonies… my back & shoulders may never forgive me. 😂

And I even had a helper! Meet Grizzly. 🐾 His idea of helping is laying right in the freshly tilled dirt. 🫣😂

Next week I’ll be pulling all my summer annuals, spent sunflowers and cleaning up those beds so I can tarp them for winter after a good composting to keep the weeds out. That was my birthday present… a silage tarp. 🤭

It may still be summer, but around here I’m already working on next spring’s flowers! 🌱🌸

Hi everyone!! Don’t forget I’ll be at the Sayre Farmers Market at Howard Elmer Park by The SBA tomorrow 8/28, I’ll be set up by 9:00 am some come early and pick out your favorite bouquets. Here are a few of the flowers you will see this week in addition to more gorgeous Lisianthus, and dahlias!! This MAY be my last big flower harvest for the season as the rain is really hammering my warm season annuals. So make sure you stop by, say hi and grab some!

Ran home to my parents’ farm to pick up these adorable Casperita pumpkins they grew just for me! 🤍🎃

They’ve all been washed and are drying now… and I bet you can guess what’s coming next. 👀🌸

I’ve been saving dried flowers all season for some fun fall projects, and I cannot wait to start decorating these little guys. Stay tuned…
