We are getting closer and closer to spring. The days are getting longer and little glimpses of sun fill ours days. Although winter seems to keep us bundled up it’s also a beautiful time to spend quality time with the people you live all cozied up. When I think of winter I think of warm coco, mittens and good company. When I think of spring I think of the resurrection and things coming back to life … everything that was gone wakes up again with renewed strength and energy and vibrancy. I think there will be a lot more florals coming your way 😅 ….

I recently shared our process of how we make our cards and I truly appreciate your responses. This painting was inspired by a summer stroll in Montclair last summer. Sometimes a walk outside can help to clear my head or simply help to relax. I don’t know about you but I feel springing more time outside thank inside is the best way to enjoy each day. Painting has been my form of relaxing and meditating. It helps me to feel grounded and to calm@my thoughts. When I initially sat down to paint this I was thinking about India. My grandmother recently visited India and it had me exploring the culture the food, the clothes , the colors … such a fascinating country. In this painting I wanted to combine my inspiration with my love of fashion and cultures. Is there something that helps you to meditate and calm down ?
