A fun new checkerboard designed for the the .coil 2026 design contest. I wanted to stay true to my brand aesthetic and came up with this updated version of my popular rainbow checkerboard pattern. A fusion of plaid and checkerboard in retro inspired colors. What do you think??

I stand in solidarity with immigrants, people in MN who are fighting, and those living in fear all over the country right now.

As an immigrant myself, this year has been hard. As I see the nation changing to something I never expected, I am struggling to process what I’m seeing. I haven’t been showing up much here because cute stationery seems frivolous when people are being dragged out of their homes, families separated, and people murdered. I am showing up today to show my support.

Although I am not able to completely shutdown, Here’s what I am doing to show my support. NO SHOPPING. I will NOT be giving my $$ to corporations supporting ICE. No Amazon, No Target trips to start with. I urge you to do the same. Make a dent in their profit as much and as long as you can. Because that’s what they care about.
Find local alternatives or corporations who care about humanity and not just profits. Spend your $$ at local small businesses and use cash(credit card fees go to big banks).
I will be looking for alternatives myself and will post what I find. Stay safe and compassionate. Because we are all human! ❤️

Happy Happy New Year!!
Welcoming the New Year with this new checkerboard Yearly Calendar! I’ve been wanting to design a full year wall calendar 🗓️ for a while.
I like to see the full picture- On paper- In front of my eyes. Not on the phone- Not on any other digital reminders-Cause I won’t look- And if I look ,I won’t remember Unless I actually write on paper 📝.
