Remember when Sundays were supposed to be a day of rest? Yeah… me neither. 😂

Around here, it’s more like running kids to practices, taking care of the animals, figuring out what needs done around the house, making candles, filling orders, getting ready for upcoming events… and wondering how the holidays are already right around the corner.

Oh, and apparently everyone still needs to eat. Every. Single. Day. 😂

Somewhere in between all of that, I’ll probably reheat the same cup of coffee at least twice, light a candle because that somehow makes the chaos feel cozier, and tell myself I’m only going to do “one more thing” about 15 times.

October always seems to be the start of the crazy-busy stretch of the year, so I’m trying to remember that the entire to-do list doesn’t have to get finished today.

If everyone is fed, the animals are taken care of, the kids get where they need to go, and I manage to sit down for five minutes at some point… I’m calling it a successful Sunday. 😂❤️

❤️ A little bit about me...

I realized that I share a lot about candles, new scents, events and everything happening at Farm & Flame—but I don't share very much about the person behind it all.

So, hi. 😊 I'm the person behind Farm & Flame.

What started as a little idea has turned into something that has become a pretty big part of my life. I'm the one testing fragrances, pouring candles, making wax melts, labeling, packing orders, getting ready for events and occasionally wondering why I thought trying one more scent was a good idea. 😂

But I definitely don't do life—or Farm & Flame—completely alone.

That's my husband beside me, and while you may not always see him in the pictures, he's one of the people behind the scenes supporting my crazy ideas, helping when I need an extra set of hands, and probably hearing way more about candles and fragrance oils than he ever expected to. ❤️

Farm & Flame isn't a big company. It's something I've built little by little, right here at home, with a whole lot of trial and error, excitement, late nights and help from the people I love.

And every time you order a candle, stop by our tent at an event, tell someone about Farm & Flame, leave a kind comment or come back because you loved something you bought, you're supporting this little dream of mine.

I don't think I'll ever stop being excited that something I made with my own two hands gets to have a place in someone else's home.

Sometimes you just need a wax melt.
