Tiny Wings, Big Dreams 🐝✨

I was setting up this mini bee bin today and started telling stories to my little one about how hard these tiny garden friends actually work. 🌻

Did you know that to make just one pound of honey, a colony of bees has to visit roughly 2 million flowers? That’s a whole lot of flying for such tiny wings! It really makes you appreciate every little buzz you hear in the garden. 💛

It was so sweet watching him ”fly“ his bee from flower to flower, pretending to collect nectar. It‘s amazing how a simple tray of dyed pasta and some loose parts can turn a big science fact into a fun afternoon of play.

Cherry blossom sensory play 🌸

This new cherry blossom filter in this beautiful tray instantly reminded me of last April when we traveled to Japan. The cherry blossoms were everywhere, and we had a little picnic under the trees. It was one of those simple, peaceful moments I still think about.

Lucky little hands at play today 🍀✨

We set up a St. Patrick’s Day sensory tray with gold coins, clovers, and our new Pot of Gold sensory filter. It quickly turned into a treasure hunt. Scooping, sorting, filling the shamrock trays, and of course collecting all the “gold” 😆

I love how themed play makes it feel extra special without needing anything complicated. Just simple materials, imagination, and lots of fine motor practice 💚
