I’ve been living with my rohdeusa kiln for about 4-5 months now, and after a few firings under my belt, I have to say one of my favorite features is the Rohde app!

Benefits:
- It logs all of your firings
- Allows you to create, edit, and save firing programs.
- It has a program library you can select from if you don’t know where to start, and you can further edit those.
- I’m a visual person so I love the Temperature Profile graph that shows the temp. over time. You can quickly see how long the program will take. Great for catching accidents before they happen!
- You can send the programs directly to your kiln and save them there on a select program number. They will be stored there for use in the future.
- Watch your kiln’s current temperature as it runs through the program.
- Get notifications when your firing is complete!

I can totally see a change in my clear and colors are poppin’. 🤩

Pet Portraits are now open! 🐶🐱🐾

This is the best time to create special gifts whether for your friends, family, or yourself. We all love our fur baby’s and they deserve to be celebrated, cherished, and memorialized, and I would be honored to create this for you.

I open for portraits about twice a year, now for the holidays and in March/ April for Mother’s/ Father’s Day. These do take time, so please order early, once I hit my max I will turn off this option and you will have to wait til next year.

🐾The best way to order these is to look at the options I have listed for what object you want your fur baby painted on. (I do hand make all of these btw, this is why they take so long.) the mugs have an option for one or two pets, and for TropiCali style with abstract palm leaves and splashes.

🐾After purchasing, please email me your fur baby’s photo and color preference, you could also leave it up to me to select a color I feel best matches.

🐾 Please make sure your photos are clear and in good lighting. Black pets are the toughest to see. You can send multiple photos. If the photo you like the best isn’t as clear, and you have other photos that are better to help me see colorations, etc. please send multiple. 🙌🏾

My ladies are complete, I’m still not sure what to call these. It was a commissioned request from Shauna from ShopTheHood Looking for Black Art to hang on the wall.

There wasn’t much guidance other than she wanted black women hanging on the wall, and I went off! 😆 I love commission orders when I have limited guidelines.

I know a few of you have requested to order these. I’m not looking to mass produce these, but have it be a conversation of form, function, and vibe. There are different colored clays to explore, the adding a functional element like and alter for candles, hold keys, or a planter/vase. I’m open to explore and chat about these ideas.

I’ll open up for request after the holiday rush. I’ll leave a section on my site to sign up! Coming soon!🤗

I love this spoken word by Freebird I heard it months ago, and saved it for the right time.

I’ve been working in silence for a while now. Experimenting in between production work. Learning and growing in peace. Letting the work speak for itself.

I’ve been taking commission work here and there, if I feel it speaks to me. These chocolate ladies was commissioned by Shauna from ShopTheHood which is a largest black owned business buying guide. She had this wall hanging terra cotta sun on the wall, the kind one would hang in the backyard or a garden, and she thought this would be so much better if it were a black woman. Can you make that?

My response was, well I guess….I could make anything if I put my mind to it. She said perfect, I would like 3, one representing 3 emotions, Serenity, Breathe, and Joy, 😯 (that’s my face). I tried looking up inspiration for something similar, and there really isn’t anything like these, so I had full range to explore and enjoy.

One thing that I love about these wall hangings is that I added holes so that you can accessories them however you want. A couple have holes in the hears for earrings, holes in the hairs to hole flowers. ☺️🌺
