WHEN AN EMERGENCY HAPPENS, WAITING DAYS ISN’T AN OPTION.

We received an urgent call from one of our property-management clients after a sewage/septic backup affected multiple areas of an occupied unit.

The situation needed attention quickly. We rearranged our schedule and were on site the same day, within hours of receiving the call.

After assessing the affected areas, we suited up in the appropriate PPE—including protective suits, respirators, gloves, and eye protection—and got straight to work.

This wasn’t a simple mop-and-go cleanup.

Our process included removal and wet extraction of sewage-contaminated water and solid waste, followed by detailed cleaning of the affected hard surfaces. We then performed multiple treatment passes using professional cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing products, while following appropriate product dwell times. Air movement was also used throughout the process to assist with drying.

The bathroom, shower, bedroom, and additional affected hard-floor areas were addressed, and contaminated disposable materials and collected waste were bagged and removed from the property for appropriate disposal.

A few hours later, swipe to see the difference.

But the transformation isn’t our favorite part.

After the job, our property-management client reached out to let us know that the tenant said we did an “absolutely amazing job” and wanted to personally thank us.

Wilson Creek School — Post-Construction Cleaning Complete

We’re grateful to have completed our first project with Apollo Mechanical Contractors and to now be one of their preferred vendors for post-construction cleaning, with more projects already ahead.

Our team completed the final post-construction cleaning throughout Wilson Creek School, including classrooms, corridors, restrooms, facility spaces and more.

Our scope included construction dust and debris removal, high dusting, detailed surface cleaning, interior & exterior windows, carpet cleaning, floors, restrooms, fixtures, doors, and final turnover touch-ups.

With the school preparing to open Monday, this project came with a tight deadline. What was originally scheduled as a 6-day project was completed in just 4 days, delivering the fast turnaround needed while maintaining our quality standards.

J&A continues to expand our post-construction division, take on larger commercial projects, and serve more areas throughout Washington.

Another post-construction project successfully completed for Summit.

Our team was brought in to take this facility from active construction conditions to a clean, detailed, turnover-ready space.

From construction dust and debris to heavily marked walls, floors, fixtures, doors, restrooms and detailed surfaces, our crew worked through the facility from top to bottom while maintaining the safety standards required on an active construction site.

The end result: a clean facility, a successful turnover, and another satisfied client.

PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | Project Arctic — Moses Lake, WA

As J&A Pro Cleaning Services continues to take on more post-construction projects throughout the Columbia Basin, while expanding across Washington and into neighboring states, we wanted to look back at one of the major projects that helped build the experience we bring to jobs today.

In 2023, J&A was selected to perform post-construction and final cleaning services for the new Okanogan Specialty Fruits processing facility in Moses Lake, working alongside Hansen-Rice during the completion of this approximately 110,000 sq. ft. facility.

Our scope included multiple phases of post-construction cleaning, detailed final cleaning, interior surfaces, floors, windows and glass, construction dust and debris removal, and preparation of the facility for final turnover.

We never properly showcased this project when it was completed, but as our post-construction division continues to grow, we’re going to start sharing more of the work that has helped build our portfolio over the years.

Over the past month, we’ve completed several residential post-construction projects, and we’re currently working on another large commercial project.
