Hello friends! 👋🏼 It’s been a while since I’ve posted here, let alone shown my face, so allow me to introduce myself to the people who’ve followed this page since my last personal post.
I’m Haley, the owner and creator of NoJo Studio! I’ve always been creative and crafty and loved to create things for other people. My most popular trade is my t-shirt blankets, and for a while I made those as a side hustle while I worked full time as an elementary educational assistant. When my husband and I discovered we were expecting a son, Noah Joseph, I created this brand and named it after him, and when he was born in 2021, I quit my day job and turned my side hustle into my full time business! I was flooded with support from friends and family and people I had never even met, so I was able to stay home with my son and also help provide for my family financially. It’s been such an incredible blessing and I could not be more thankful.
My T-shirt blankets are so special to not only my clients, but to me too. As I’m working with people’s sentimental t-shirts and sweatshirts and button ups and baby blankets and lovies, I feel like I learn a lot about them, seeing the events they’ve been to, the bands they like, the schools they attended, the clubs they participated in… or the clothes from passed loved ones they’ve chosen to save to preserve their memory, or the pieces they’ve kept from their childhood or from when their kids were babies because they were so special. I turn these treasured pieces into blankets so they don’t have to sit in a box in the closet anymore, they can be snuggled with, displayed, wrapped up in to feel the love of someone who is no longer with them. It truly is a special task, and knowing that people give me their full trust to turn their sentimental pieces into something beautiful is not something I take for granted. I am so grateful for the skill God blessed me with, and that I am able to use it to bring beauty to others’ lives.
