Don't fall for this weather storm scam

The day we started making sure all of our friends had what they needed to survive the past week plus, there was a moment we got to share with Randy that I wanted to share with all of you. However, Mother Nature and Old Man Winter happened and...well...you know the rest. But we now have that opportunity, and we are going to take advantage of it.

We always want to celebrate the important achievements and special moments in our friends' lives, and this is a good one.

Randy just celebrated 6 months clean and sober!!! And the difference in him, in so many ways, is striking.

How big was this for Randy? This comment says it all: "Steven, I didn't remember what it felt like to be sober."

Wow!

Congratulations Randy! We are so proud of you!

Over the past eleven years we’ve been able to bless thousands and we want to continue but we need your help. So, please give what you can via VENMO or by clicking https://donate.stripe.com/3cs3cR4Ya0Aa3Sg6op Thank You and God Bless!

A Halloween salute to his SRO

Student Harrison Eaton of Lascassas Elementary School dressed up like his SRO Chad Dodson for Halloween.

Harrison dressed like Dodson, complete with his own Pancake stuffed animal.

Dodson introduced students to Pancake during Covid, using the stuffed animal to bring joy to the students. Since then, he introduced other stuffed animals as Pancake’s friends to entertain students.

Thank you, Chick-fil-A

Sheriff’s SROs and deputies who worked at the Oakland-Riverdale football game were treated to Chick-fil-A food Thursday night.

Oakland SRO Dallas Huling and SRO Travis Brewer received the meals.

Thanks to Chick-fil-A manager Daniel Riess who organized the donation and delivered the meals from the Memorial Boulevard restaurant.

While talking with Entertainment Tonight during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, Robert Englund shared that he would love to return as Freddy Krueger in an animated series.

"Maybe an animated [Nightmare on Elm Street] series, perhaps... something like that. It would be really fun to voice him while I'm still around."
