This month we celebrate six years of business! And it wouldn’t be possible without our team. They pour into our business and they deserve all the recognition.

MEET: KIM CROUCH

Kim’s story is a total “God wink”. Her husband Stephen attended our grand opening/ribbon cutting. That evening he told Kim about our store and thought it would be worthy of a stop. Kim became a regular customer. Meanwhile, we had customers asking if we offered home decor services. We had never fathomed the idea and didn’t really know how/if we could make that fit the schedule. We discussed it and prayed. A few weeks later, Kim approaches Steve in the store and says, “I wondered if you all needed any part time help. I have a degree in decorating and design.” Y’all…God is good!! We truly believe He sent her and the rest is history. She fits us like a glove. Kim is a self starter..she jumps right in..knows what needs to be done and does it. Kim and Kellie compliment each other perfectly-where one is “extra” the other is “minimal”. We appreciate her!

HOMETOWN:I grew up in Owensboro, Ky

COLLEGE (DEGREE): MSU Bachelor of Science w/studies in Interior Design, Fashion, Merchandising, and Marketing.
(I’ve been rearranging rooms, styling, and telling others what looks good most of my life).

IMMEDIATE FAMILY: Husband, Stephen. Children; Collier, Kellen, Millie Joy and Oscar The Crouch 🐶

HOBBIES: Cooking & baking for the people I love. Decorating, and finding old pieces with a story.

FAVORITE PAST TIME: my family will always be my favorite past time. I love spending time with them and cheering them on. They bring me so much joy. I love to travel, love the beach and chocolate-peanut butter ice cream.

WHAT YOU LOVE ABOUT FIVE PSALMS:
Five Psalms is much more than a job. They’ve become my second family. I’ve had jobs in the past that I’ve dreaded and this has never been the case with FPC. I genuinely love the people I work with. Give Kellie and I a blank space and a little freedom and we’ll make it happen. The customers and relationships that we’ve established is also why I love my job. We know about their homes, their children and their lives…and they know ours. We cherish them.

This month we celebrate SIX years of business👏👏👏 And this business couldn’t happen without our team.
We want to highlight each one of them and thank them for being a part of us and making Five Psalms Co possible.
First up……

MEET: BARB BIERBAUM
We first met Barb as a client. She and her husband Brett were in the new construction phase of their home and we assisted them with finalizing the construction details. She was a great, easy client to work with. The following year, she was welcomed in as part of our team. Barb is very organized, articulate, and has a great work ethic. She’s amazing at entering products and making sure every I is dotted and T crossed. She’s a great asset! Thanks Barb for all you do!

HOMETOWN:
Medora, IL although I was born in California and spent 6 years there as a Marine Corp brat! We’ve lived in Murray for 24 years and consider it home.

COLLEGE (Degree):
Lewis and Clark College

FAMILY:
Brett and I have been married for 34 years and have four kids who have grown into quite the crew! Lauren and Zach have Blake and Logan, Katie and Trey have Laney and Emery, Abbie is married to Luke, and our youngest is Colton.

HOBBIES:
Cooking, especially trying new recipes and entertaining friends at our home. I’m also learning to play pickleball!

FAVORITE PAST TIME:
I love being with the people I love—whether that’s a beach trip, a good meal with friends, a day with the grandkids, or just enjoying life on the farm with Brett. ❤️

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT FIVE PSALMS CO:
I genuinely love the people I work with! As a small team of seven, we share a close-knit, family-like atmosphere that makes Five Psalms Co. such a special place to work. Kellie and Steve are the best, we have an encouraging work environment, and truly wonderful customers. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of this team! ❤️
