The Devin Carrier Memorial MMA Charitable Foundation was established to honor the life and legacy of Devin Carrier, a lifelong resident of Freetown and a passionate mixed martial arts fighter with dreams of reaching the UFC. Devin’s promising future was tragically cut short on August 6, 2016, when he lost his life at just 21 years old in a car accident while returning home from an MMA training session—just days before his next scheduled fight.

In his memory, Devin’s family founded this organization to carry forward his spirit, dedication, and love for the community. The foundation supports local high school seniors by awarding scholarships to those pursuing higher education or preparing to enter the workforce, helping others achieve their dreams as Devin once pursued his.
