Ladies,
Let me introduce myself. I am the owner, manager and creator of Sonora Gardens Farmstead. I am in my 24th year of business.
I am a farm girl, business owner, executive director of Memorial Hospital Foundation a mom and grandma/Mema.
I am passionate about community and continuing to be an advocate of services in our rural areas.
In the next 2-3 years along with the Memorial Hosptial Foundation staff, we will be securing funds for a new Willow Grove childcare learning center, which will be located in Carthage, Il on the senior service campus. This learning center will house our little students and provide an opportunity for intergenerational activities to include our seniors.
Childcare is limited across the nation, including rural areas. I am asking 250 women who love the idea of supporting childcare in a wonderful learning environment and remembering the senior population with mentorship programming to join me by donating $100. Your donation will be added to the other donations and will add up to a naming opportunity for this amazing childcare and learning center. All driven by the force of women! 🥰

I was so excited the Carthage Public Library asked me to take on this one of a kind project! This special bookcase will be heading back to the new library in a few weeks as a tribute to bring something "old" into the "new". It's almost solid walnut with the interior shelves being pine. It also contains the original "wavy glass" on all the cabinet doors! What a spectacular piece!

I'm getting an early start this morning on this solid, Walnut 1800s bookcase. This gorgeous wood needs nothing but a new polyurethane finish to return it to it's spectacular wood grain!

I'm not a fan of this cold, winter weather however it is giving me lots of time to work on new inventory and custom orders! Here's my latest piece 😍 This one-of-a-kind vintage vanity from1932 has been painted in a beautiful,pastel blue with ivory lace details and new reupholstered velvet matching seat. All gorgeous birdesye maple and walnut legs, top and drawer has been refinished to their stunning natural wood features ✨️
