The Wood Couple

It’s cool when it happens; someone sees something we made and comes up with their own spin on it and gives us the chance to make it.. So here is another GA state shaped board but with a different engraving on it.. Had a little piece of scrap left so didn’t let it go to waste and made a little heart also as a bonus for her..

Love the look of all the different hard woods in these things; “Can I pet that dawg?” Yes but he bites!

We were asked if we could do something with a thin metal sign to jazz it up, give it some pop and/or something with lights..

Challenged accepted and we came up with a light box type of idea.

Made a few wood outlines stacked and glued them, made a bottom, cut some acrylic into the same shape, frosted it, added LED lights along inside wall of the wood outlines and sealed everything up.

Super stoked at how this idea turned out!!
