First, thank you for allowing me to share my Art with you! So, whats my story and why do I do this you might ask?! Well, I didn't discover my artistic talent until I decided to take a summer art class (after seeing my brother attend one) when I was 13 years old. My teacher initially recognized my talents and helped me enroll in my J
unior High schools Advanced Art class that coming school year. The following year I began to attend High school and continued to take a variety of drawing, painting & photography classes until graduating in 2004. Since graduation, I have been working on my talents in my spare time while working full time, and recently decided that I wanted share what I love to do with others in hopes that it will bring you the same amount of joy, happiness and smiles that it brings to me. But where do I find my inspiration you might ask?! Nature has always been very inspiring to me, even before I knew I had any talents, I always enjoyed the the beauty of nature; from the flowers on the ground to the clouds in the sky, and (literally) everything in between. But nature wasn't my only inspiration, my brother and my father have also had a big roll in inspiring me to pursue my talents. As I mentioned earlier, I may not have discovered my inner talents (or maybe not so soon), if it were not for my brother; as children and even through high school, he was always the one with the paper and pencils (crayons, markers, pens, you name it), carrying them around, sketching out his thoughts (things beyond your imagination), and sharing them with anyone who was willing to look and listen. On the same note, my father has always been a talented photographer, and as long as I can remember, he's had a camera in his hand and a tripod over his shoulder; like myself, he also finds much of his inspiration from nature and enjoys sharing his photography with others. From growing up with an artistically inclined brother and an amazing photographer for a father, I guess you could even say it runs in the family! I hope this has given you some insight into ME!
