Squirrel & Moon Birdhouses are back in stock at Picnic Rock Farms! Each birdhouse is hand crafted using recycled lumber with vintage details. Built as functional homes for our feathered friends to the standard of the Audubon society, they have proper height and width for nests, they contain a clean out door, drainage and ventilation holes and special grooves to allow fledglings to climb out if needed. They have been treated for weather resistance and contain approximately a 1 1/4" opening with a perch that sits lower to aid in predator prevention. These are suitable for the chickadee, tufted titmouse, nuthatch, wren and downy woodpecker.
These birdhouses can be a wonderful addition to your garden and will continue to age beautifully!

Welcome to Squirrel and Moon! I wanted to share a little bit about the flower presses I make. These presses are a great way to preserve your favorite botanicals! Perfect for crafting and decorating or your herbarium. Each one is generously sized at 12” x 9” to allow for use with larger flowers and leaves. Simply place your botanicals between the provided 100% cotton paper sheets with a layer of cardboard on each side. Tighten the wing nuts appropriately and allow to dry for 1 to 2 weeks. Each press also comes with a free packet of wildflower seeds that help support our native bees. There are 4 different styles available at the display @ Picnic Rock farms in Meredith, NH. Custom presses available! Curbside pick up and local delivery available. 😊
