I was so afraid to even do something for myself since Ailo and I are 3 days apart.
I told myself my birthdays are done because his is more important now but with sisters like the ones I have, they wasn’t allowing it .

Today I attended Career Reaources Inc, Stop the Gun Violence Block Party with Ailo right on my hip & let me tell you, I had such a great time . Thanking God for allowing my Godmother to mention me and Burning Peace Candles in rooms we weren’t even present in. it opened up soooo many opportunities for us for the remainder of this year. Thank you Gommy !!! I love you ! I can’t wait to be apart of other events and opportunities hosted by Career Resources & other organizations we connected we today. !

I’m sitting here studying and trying to hold my metal together because like I’ve been saying, everything isn’t working out .

So I lit my “Hold Me & Heal” candle, not even realizing I placed it directly in front of a sign at my sister’s house that said, “Prayer Changes Everything.”

I just stopped.
Literally stopped everything though. I stopped overthinking, trying to control everything and pretending I was okay.

I prayed & was quickly reminded that sometimes God will send you reminders in the quietest ways. 🙏🏾
