Yesterday, my beloved mother, Miss Johnnie Mae Miles, gained her heavenly wings. 🕊️❤️ Although my heart is broken, I find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace—no more pain, no more suffering, resting safely in the arms of the Lord.
My mother was loving, caring, kind, and one of the hardest-working women I have ever known. Her work ethic was unmatched, and she taught my siblings and me by example what it meant to be strong, responsible, loving, and devoted to family.
She had such a beautiful love for life. She loved reading, traveling, entertaining, and creating wonderful memories with the people she loved. And anyone blessed enough to attend one of her dinner parties knows that she knew how to make you feel welcomed, loved, and well fed! She had a special gift for bringing family and friends together.
She loved her family deeply, and she blessed my siblings and me with a lifetime of memories that we will carry in our hearts forever. And, of course, there was Paris—a place she loved so dearly and one that will forever make me think of her. 🇫🇷❤️
Mom, thank you for your love, your sacrifices, your wisdom, your strength, and every precious memory you gave us. Your earthly journey may have ended, but your legacy will continue through your children, grandchildren, family, and everyone whose life you touched.
God blessed us tremendously when He gave us you, and now we return you to Him. Rest peacefully, Mommy. Until we meet again, I will carry your love with me every single day.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
I love you forever. ❤️🙏🏾🕊️
