Following Rabbit down the beautiful path of weaving! Tonight’s Quattuor Lecture with the Southeast Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art was a true reminder of the artistry and discipline behind historic design.

We had the privilege of hearing from Rabbit Goody, whose mastery in recreating historical textiles is nothing short of extraordinary. Her work brings centuries-old techniques back to life—thread by thread—preserving the integrity, beauty, and storytelling woven into these pieces.

As designers, it’s inspiring to see such dedication to craftsmanship and authenticity. It deepens our appreciation for the layers of history that inform the spaces we create today.

Grateful to be part of a community that continues to celebrate and elevate the art of classical design.

Today at Design ADAC, I had the pleasure of visiting the Kravet showroom and learning more about the creative process behind wallpaper production. It was fascinating to see how beautiful wallcoverings are still created using traditional screen printing techniques.

There is something so special about craftsmanship that blends artistry, precision, and time-honored methods. The screen-printing process produces depth, richness, and stunning detail that truly sets these papers apart.

A wonderful reminder that great design often begins with the hands of talented makers.

The new Metaphores fabric collection draws inspiration from the atmosphere, the moon, and the ever-changing beauty of our environment. These textiles capture a sense of movement and light — from luminous, moonlit sheens to richly textured weaves that feel grounded in the natural world.

I’m especially drawn to the reflective gold and silver metallic fabrics as well as the patterns that evoke shifting skies and lunar landscapes, while the layered textures bring warmth and dimension inspired by earth, minerals, and organic surfaces.

Nature continues to be one of the most powerful sources of inspiration in design, and this collection translates those influences beautifully — creating textiles that feel both calming and sophisticated.

A wonderful reminder that when we look to the sky, the earth, and the environment around us, we find endless inspiration for interiors that feel timeless and meaningful. Take a moment to observe dawn or dusk! IMaybe you have a sunrise or sunset terrace that allows you to reflect nature’s wonders!

Spring is always a gentle reminder that inspiration is all around us.

The soft blossoms of pink, layered with warm tones from nature, create a palette that feels both fresh and timeless. I often look to these seasonal shifts for ideas — the subtle color combinations, the organic textures, and the sense of renewal that spring brings.

Nature has a beautiful way of showing us how to blend color effortlessly… and this time of year is one of my favorites.

What spring colors are inspiring you right now?

One of the most rewarding parts of interior design is seeing the transformation that comes from reupholstery. For this project, we’re giving a well-made sofa a second life — preserving its craftsmanship while updating the look to better reflect my client’s home and style.

Reupholstery is more than just selecting beautiful fabric. It’s about:
• Honoring quality construction that was built to last
• Reducing waste by keeping furniture out of landfills
• Supporting skilled artisans and local workrooms
• Creating a truly custom piece tailored to the space

In today’s world, sustainability is increasingly important — and reupholstery is one of the most thoughtful ways we can design responsibly. A solid frame, timeless silhouette, and fresh fabric can completely transform a piece while reducing environmental impact.

There’s also something meaningful about preserving pieces that already have a story. When we reupholster, we’re not just updating furniture — we’re continuing its life in a new and beautiful way.

I can’t wait to share the finished transformation soon. Stay tuned!

If you have a piece you love but feel it needs a refresh, I’d love to help you explore the possibilities.

There’s something about green that feels like a deep breath.

This tiny fern, just beginning to unfurl, carries so much quiet energy. Its spiral—perfectly balanced, endlessly harmonious—reminds me that growth doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful. It simply unfolds, one layer at a time.

Green is the color of renewal, of possibility, of forward movement. It grounds us while gently energizing us—connecting us back to nature, to balance, to life itself. When I bring green into a space, whether through plants, textiles, or subtle accents, it creates a sense of calm that still feels alive… refreshed, not static.

In design, as in nature, it’s often these small moments of organic beauty that have the greatest impact.

A reminder on this St. Patrick’s Day: growth is happening—even when it’s quiet, even when it’s just beginning and just peaking up from fertile soil.💚
