A native of Louisiana and a resident of Mandeville, Brad draws his inspiration from his environment capturing iconic New Orleans symbols such as the Canal Street streetcar, shotgun houses and gas lanterns. Louisiana landscapes with marches, oaks, and cypress trees influence many of his paintings. His style is impressionistic. Some of his pieces rely heavily on texture, metallic paint and gold leaf
and others are done in a watercolor style using acrylic on canvas. The calming, soothing color palette works well in a variety of spaces.
