DIY window tint in New Orleans lasts about as long as a snowball in July.
We just removed a weekend Amazon job in Lakeview. Bubbles, purple fade, glue everywhere. Cost him $40 to install, $200 for us to remove it.
Pro film blocks heat, doesn't bubble, and has a warranty. DIY doesn't.

What the hell is "U-value" and why is it running up your Entergy/CLECO bill?

U-value = your window’s pothole rating for heat.
Single pane = 1.13 → Big pothole. Heat flies through.
Expensive replacement windows = 0.30 → Smooth street. Heat gets blocked.

That 1.13 is why your A/C never shuts off from May to October.

Window tint = the less expensive way to fill that pothole without replacing the whole street.
