A mesmerizing gradient in motion.
This custom 10’ x 8’ hand-tufted rug was developed using 25 tonal transitions in ARS 1200 New Zealand wool and shiny nylon, moving from deep black to a luminous white center and back again.
The challenge wasn’t creating the contrast—it was eliminating every visible step between colors to achieve a seamless fade.
As designers, which setting do you think this rug elevates most—and why?
