Here’s a quick recap from our Happy heART Paint & Scoop Experience 🍦🎨

On a rainy day, something special happened…

Families, Kids (ages 3–10) , couples, and elders came together—some picking up a paintbrush for the very first time. They created, laughed, and surprised themselves along the way.

People showed up, tried something new, and actually enjoyed it.
Some didn’t think they could paint—but they did.

That’s what Stapledon Arts is about.
Creating space for people to just start.

With our paint kits guiding the experience, creativity felt easy, reflective, and joyful for everyone in the room.

There were surprise raffles, sweet scoops from and a whole lot of love—and it became more than an event… it became a memory.

is a Dominican-American digital illustrator reppin Uptown, his work is bold, vibrant, and deeply rooted in culture—capturing nostalgic moments in their purest form.

At Stapledon Arts, we partner with schools and nonprofits across NYC to engage families through art… and we’ve been so inspired seeing more boys find joy in creating with us.

Ruben felt like the perfect artist to reflect the communities we serve—and the stories we’re proud to uplift.

This collaboration is about culture, connection, and creating space for the next generation to see themselves in art.

Being in a room full of creativity is MAGIC ✨

Hearing their perspectives reminded us why representation matters — it’s about visibility, inspiration, and empowering every artist to tell their story. 🎨

This one is near and dear to me.

Dalma Norales isn’t just an incredible artist—she’s one of my former high school art students. And from the moment I met her, I knew she had something special.

Watching her grow, refine her voice, and step fully into her artistry has been one of those full-circle moments that reminds me why I do this work.

This is bigger than a paint kit.
It’s about legacy. It’s about pouring into the next generation and then witnessing them rise… and create something powerful of their own.
