There is so much going on in the world right now and I know it seems strange to be posting about my art world. It has been a while and I had to take a moment of pause this year but just wanted to let you know I am still dedicated and will be back ✨ thank you for all the support throughout the years.

So many changes we to through in our life and we barely give each other time to reassess and focus on the present. I hope that from this time there will be more beauty to come so that I can share with you. In the meantime… some of the pieces that have inspire that I have summer soul in them 🌞

My sweet friends,
Happy Beltane 🌱 time of renewal and wonder.
I always notice how my body asks for quietness and slowness through this time. Have you noticed it too? Even spotting bumble bees dipping into a flower seems enchanting. At this moment in time, everything is flourishing, everything has a purpose unfolding.

There is a lot going on a brewing on my part. Thank you for your patience and support always.

Standing in the darkness of the thick forest, we stood questioning if we could face the unknown. We surrendered to the fear of its mystery and heard it speak through the night sounds. In the midst of disorienting moments there is an undeniable call we get to honor our wild side and connect to nature.

We have seen it before: a night full of stars, a moon so big, incredibly majestic that you cannot help but softly whisper a prayer to.

You ask for your most secret dreams to be granted, a deeper understanding of your life’s unfolding…
And in that moment it all seem to be possible, a magical exchange that transcends all time and space.

Life and pomegranates 🩸🌱❄️

The olive trees 🫒 🌱 have always had me enchanted. Their resiliance, their beauty and nutritional prosperities. The ways the branches created curved designs that seemed to reach for the sky in the most creative ways.
Being a tree that I often have seen in my warm southern homeland in Italy, I started researching documentaries and photos of the ancient work of olive harvesting. I was met with this incredible overwhelming appreciation of the plant itself but also the human and spiritual folklore behind it. Women and men who together spent days and nights from dawn to dusk singing work songs during their physical labor, using their hands to collect this special fruit taking short food breaks with homemade meals made of simple bread, onions, olives and homemade wine.

In my heart I knew that this was an insanely underpaid unappreciated job but it brought me so much hope for humanity to see how workers got together in the midst of hardship and made something ordinary into a folklore part of history.

So I decided to create a pendant that represented all this magic and as a “gratitude” symbol for all of those who worked with their hands to harvest something so rich that for centuries has lived in our kitchen in liquid form. ✨
