I have no larger love than a chocolate chip cookie. So here is my favorite recipe πŸͺπŸͺ Ingredients: 2 cups (275g) AP flour 1 tsp (5g)baking soda 1 tbsp (15g)cornstarch 12 tbsp butter (170 g butter) 3/4 cup (180g) brown sugar (packed) 1/2 cup (110g) granulated sugar 2 tbsp (25 g)milk 1 tsp (5g)salt 2 tsp vanilla 1 egg 1 egg yolk 1 1/4 cup mixed chocolate Flaky salt to top Place butter in a sauce pan over medium heat. Stir consistently until butter begins to turn a golden brown color. Remove from heat and place in a bowl to set in the fridge. Looking for the texture of softened butter. If you bake it with the butter melted you won’t cream the sugars and the cookie will spread thin Place butter in a mixing bowl with the sugar, salt and vanilla. Cream this mixture together until light and fluffy ~ 3 minutes. Add your egg and egg yolk, along with 2 tbsp of milk. Mix this until well combined. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, cornstarch and baking soda. Then pour this into your wet mix and mix. Mix in CC Form your cookies into balls. Let them rest in the fridge for ~ 2 hours to help hydrate dough. Can also bake straight away if desired. Bake at 350 for ~ 10 min. While still warm top them with some flaky salt.
