If your virtual event has a lot of guests, split them up into breakout rooms and give them 10 minutes to play a game and get to know each other. The game is fun, breaks the ice, and hopefully people walk away with a new friend or two.

If your virtual baby shower guests are up for a challenge, this is a great game. Splitting the party into breakout rooms for games is an awesome opportunity for people to talk in smaller groups, meet new people, and show off what they remember from science class!

I hosted a GREAT virtual baby shower today on zoom! About 40 people came together from all over the country to play games, share stories and advice, and eat cookies (one of the hosts sent out goody boxes!). We used breakout rooms throughout so people got to talk in smaller groups and even made some new friends, everyone had a great time!

Screenshots from the live-stream reading of Luck of the Irish. Half the story takes place in the 1950s, hence the black and white. I ran tech for this event and was able to get really creative with the software.

Bringing Theater to the Internet

My goal is to help elevate virtual live-streamed productions so they become a long-term artform. Using my tech skills and filmmaker approach to creation I can help transform your zoom-based show into a polished, professional-looking experience.

I run tech for The Antidote storytelling show, I’ve done panels, comedy and improv shows, recitals, plays and readings, and I’m working on my second red carpet and first awards show. I’ve also helped with zoom networking events and parties. If you’re doing a virtual show or event, I can help.
