When I started scrapbooking 18 years ago, there were hardly any resources to guide me.

I had to learn it all on my own, through trial and error.

I know, firsthand, how overwhelming it can be.

My Top 7 Scrapbooking Tools:

Uno- 13-inch cutting mat = Bought from Creative Memories online. I use this for every scrapbook page I make! With a little repositionable tape, I can keep my page from moving, and have all the measurements on the side of the paper. It's originally made for the Custom Cutting System, which I use it for also.

Dos- paper trimmer = Also bought from Creative Memories online. This trimmer cuts like butter! It has the option to switch the blade for other types of patterned cuts but those are sold separately. The measurements on this tool make it so easy to get the perfect cut, every time!

Tres- adhesive gun = Bought on Amazon. I use the EZ Runner Grand refills for this gun. They have several options, permanent and repositionable. I literally love this tool! Makes applying adhesive fun!

4- photo trimmer = Again, bought from Creative Memories online. This tool is a must have! It trims photos easily, without ruining the photo. I've tried others but always come back to this one. It's simply the best.

5- T-ruler = Bought on Amazon. I use this ruler to measure placement of pictures and embellishments. I want to make sure that everything is evenly placed. You can survive without it but I highly recommend it instead of a regular ruler.

6- Reversible tweezers = Also bought from Creative Memories online. Actually, it was part of Secret Box #2 this year. I had a different pair that I used but this replaced it because it was just made so well. The grip is very good. I use these tweezers to place letters and small embellishments down on the paper. Amazing tool!

7- micro-tip scissors = Bought on Amazon. Every scrapbooker needs a pair of this kind of scissors! Cuts easily and gives you lots of control, at the same time. I use it for fussy cutting and to cut out die cuts.
