HOW TO MAKE LUMPIANG SHANGHAI l FILIPINO EGG ROLLS RECIPE l LUMPIA RECIPE
Ingredients:
1 1/2 ground pork
1 cup red onion, minced
1 ½ cups carrots, minced
½ cup shrimp, finely chopped
¼ cup spring onions
2 eggs
1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 ½ tablespoons liquid seasoning
Lumpia wrapper
Cooking oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl: ground meat, onions, carrots, garlic powder, ground pepper, salt, sesame oil, shrimp, liquid seasoning, spring onions, egg.
2. Fill the lumpia wrapper with a scoop of the mixture.
3. Spread the filling.
4. Fold the bottom, both sides, then roll up until completely wrapped.
5. Seal the lumpia with water or egg.
6. Heat oil in a pan.
7. Deep fry lumpia until golden brown.
8. Remove and drain lumpia on the frying strainer or frying rack.
9. Lumpiang Shanghai is now ready to be served !
