Let’s talk about this fiber. If you are considering bringing something into your home, your sacred spaces - studios - your office, etc….consider unique that make a difference. Before you buy, ask - what is that rug or made of? It’s important for many reasons. I am always surprised when folks get excited about rugs, buy them, share them in photos….but don’t know a thing about the fibers that made it, or the story of the maker behind it. In this gilded rug called LAYERS ….concentric squares in varying pile heights with beveled edges and loops with tip sheering come together. Any color combinations are available, artwork is included with your order. Made by artisans I personally know and visited last spring…..this fiber “monsilk” was derived from water bottles. It is certified! It feels like and soft and it makes a difference in the world because taking plastic waste and making something beautiful matters. Custom orders and great pricing are available….order more and lower your sq foot price. Work with me The Rug Designer's Studio - Deborah - send a message and let’s get going on your rug with that make a difference.
