SUNDAY NIGHT RESET! 🤍
Anyone else feel like Sundays are spent preparing for the chaos of Monday? 🙋♀️
As a busy working mom who owns a home organizing business, I spend so much time helping OTHER families get organized that I barely have time to show you what we do in our own home!
Between running a business, school, sports, dance, and everything else, life gets pretty hectic around here too!
Here are 7 things we try to tackle every Sunday to make the week ahead a little easier:
🍽️ Plan 5 nights of dinners. No more staring into the fridge at 5 PM wondering what to make!
🚗 Review everyone’s schedules. Sports, dance, activities, drop-offs and pick-ups. Who needs to be where, and who’s driving?
📚 Check school calendars. Upcoming tests, quizzes, projects, and assignments. No last-minute surprises! More to come on our amazing family calendar! 📅
🛒 Stock up for the week. Groceries, school lunches, snacks, and everything we need for dinner. We couldn’t survive without Instacart
🥣 Meal prep when possible. Tonight we’re making chili, pumpkin soup, grilled chicken, and salad so we have easy options throughout the week!
🎒 Reset ALL the bags. Backpacks, soccer bags, dance bags… empty them, clean them out, and get everything ready for Monday.
👚 Plan 5 days of outfits. Check the weather and get clothes ready! We just added an over-the-door organizer for weekday outfits, with extra space for sweatshirts and dance clothes. Such a game changer!
Is our house perfectly organized every day? Absolutely NOT! But having simple systems in place makes getting back on track so much easier.
Because being organized isn’t about having a perfect home. It’s about making everyday life a little less stressful. 🤍
Now tell me… what’s ONE thing you do on Sundays that makes your week easier? I’m always looking for new ideas!
