Happy Holidays! I'm spreading some cheer today sharing a recent design project for Rian Patrick , his beautiful wife Kirstin and their two adorable kiddos Lennox and Colette.

I'll let you read through the blog post for all of the details and before pics but I want to reiterate here what an honor and pleasure it was to work with them and how good it feels to be able to bring happiness to one of our front line health care workers and her family during 2020.

Missing intimate gatherings and special events. Thankfully we’ve been able to do some distance socializing and play dates with family that are being super safe but I can’t be the only one fantasizing about huge parties where we all embrace each other! How are you adapting?

Sometimes I need a new medium to express my creativity. It’s been a while since I’ve applied paint to a canvas and it felt REALLY good!.
This family is close to my heart and I was supposed to be there to meet their new little girl in April but Covid had other plans so I created this for them and sent it along in my place.

Obsessing over wallpaper lately! I know it seems like a big commitment but it packs a huge punch when designing a room and there are a ton of peel and stick varieties now that make application and removal easy so I say go for it! Here are a few I’ve been inspired by lately. Let me know in the comments if you’d be interested in me pulling a blog post with some links together...

“It is wonderfully liberating to be honest”..
Never been one to hide my feelings very well and I’m happy that’s the case. My family, friends, and clients have learned that they can count on me for honesty that comes from a place of mutual respect and love and is most often followed by lots of Q+A and an offer to help 😊

A little video tour of my kids’ shared room right after I moved them into this back attic space. They’ve been in the same room since Iris was 5mo and Archer never had any issue sleeping through her waking. I know one day they’ll want their own space but I hope it’s not for a very very long time because I cherish their closeness both physically and as best friends 👦🏻👧🏻 🛏 🛏 🌱

I carried the same neutral pallet with modern and antique details that I’ve used in the rest of the house in here and it’s one of my favorite rooms 💚

Our daughter turned 2 yesterday and while this is a business account and you’ll primarily be seeing my work and design inspiration I think it’s also important to share my motivation - my children -
I left the corporate world 4yrs ago in order to be more available to them and it’s absolutely been the right decision.
I know many of you are working from home right now and may have little “helpers” interfering but I’ve been streamlining a work space that is making all the difference for me. Looking forward to sharing it with you all later this week!

Because I’m sure I’m not the only one who is going stir crazy and needing a project I am going to be sharing quite a few DIY’s I’ve completed lately and would love your feedback on possibly web-hosting a DIY class. Is that something you might be interested in? What sort of DIY’s would you want to do?
